Born and raised on Vancouver Island, Leo completed his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology at the University of Victoria before going on to complete his Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto. Leo’s collaborative graduate research on the clinical implementation of exoskeleton technology was published in the peer-reviewed academic Journal of Disability and Rehabilitation.

Leo is passionate about treating athletes, desk-jockeys, post-surgical patients, and everyone in between. His experience playing provincial level soccer gives him a first-hand understanding of the unique training and rehabilitation process inherent in sport. He also draws on his strength and conditioning background to complement his Physiotherapy skills when devising his treatment plans.

Leo uses a detailed movement assessment to drive his treatment strategy, which consists of therapeutic exercise, hands-on techniques, and comprehensive education to guide patients as they work toward their goals.

Leo has completed courses in kinesiology taping for injury and sport (Rocktape Basic and Advanced), manual therapy (FCAMPT Level 1), and nutrition coaching (Precision Nutrition Level 1).
